the dance-a-thon is back!

Our annual kid rave is happening on March 11th - every student JK-6 will dance for a period throughout the day, and as always, the 3 classes that raise the most funds win the very coveted pizza party!

The Dance-a-Thon is one of our biggest fundraising events, and this year we're setting a goal of $15,000. This will help kickstart an upcoming Library revitalization project, and allow council to continue our support of all sorts of school enrichment initiatives across all grades and divisions.

We did the math, and if every student dancing raises just $35, we will reach our goal.

Donating is really easy through School Cash Online.

We will also accept cash at the event. Pledge forms will go home in backpacks this week!

IMPORTANT: Make sure you list your student's name & classroom in the message box when donating online, so we can keep track for the pizza challenge!

FAQ:

  1. Can I volunteer?

Yes! We could use a hand with decorating the auditorium & throughout the day! If you’re able to help us, please sign up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084DAAAE23A4FECE9-62325328-2026#/

  2. What about my Grade 7 or 8?

Senior students have indicated that they would prefer to be on the organizational end of this project. The Senior teachers have the sign-up for seniors who want to volunteer.

  3. But we’re leaving early for March Break!

Your child can still participate in the fundraising even if they are not attending! If your child will be away on March 11, and has cash donations, please reach out to fernaveschoolcouncil@gmail.com and we will organize a drop-off/pick-up.
