PLEASE HELP: Class Reps STILL NEEDED!
One of the ways we communicate with families during the year is through our class reps. Class reps create and maintain a voluntary class contact list (of parents/guardians of students) and are a vital conduit for the Fern Ave School Council to get our messages to parents, for parents' concerns to get to us, to help organize holiday and goodbye gifts, etc. The time commitment is very low, and you don’t need any experience to be a class rep. SCOOTER GIRL: FERN HOLIDAY SHOPPING DAYS!
It’s back! The local shopping event you’ve been waiting for. The wonderful folks at our independent neighbourhood toy store, Scooter Girl, have partnered with Fern Avenue School Council to bring you Fern Holiday Shopping Days! If you shop at Scooter Girl December 5 and 6 let them know you are a Fern parent, a percentage of your purchase goes to back to Fern Ave. School Council.

FERN FUN FLICKS PRESENTS: DESPICABLE ME 4!
Join us for our annual Holiday Movie Night! This edition will be run by our Grade 8 classes , who are organizing the event (with help from School Council) to raise funds for their Grad Trip in the spring ! Wednesday December 17 in the Fern Auditorium Doors at 5:30, Show starts at 6 pm To help avoid big lines at the door, this time around we are launching our NEW movie & pizza party combo . Entry cost for this event will be $7 and includes: - Movie - Popcorn - Slice of Pizza

DEC 1-15: Holiday Food & Toy Drive
From December 1 - 15 , Fern Ave. P.S. will be collecting non-perishable food items , toiletries , and new, unwrapped toys and games . All donations will go directly to the Parkdale Community Food Bank and the West End Toy Drive , helping ensure that every family in our community can enjoy a brighter holiday.
