Looking Ahead: 2026–2027 School Council Elections
Next year will be an important transition year for Fern School Council. The current Council leadership has reached the end of its term, which means Fern will need a new slate of volunteers to step forward and help lead School Council for the 2026–2027 school year. June 1-3: Grade 8 Boat Building! This is a beloved Fern tradition for our senior students where they build a boat out of cardboard and race those boats in the pool! GRADE 8 BOAT BUILDING
This is a beloved Fern tradition for our senior students where they build a boat out of cardboard and race those boats in the pool! But we cannot pull it off without a few more volunteers and some supplies! We need sturdy cardboard boxes (think: furniture, bikes, appliances), we need 50 more XL rolls of duct tape, we need exacto knives, and we need volunteers to help prep, supervise & judge the boat races! Thank you to everyone who came out, bought a ticket, and bid in our silent auction! We're still calculating the exact tally, but it's looking like we raised over $10,000 for Fern!
